How do I turn on a Nexus 6 while disassembled?

I'm pretty sure it's toast.

Anyone with knowledge on the Nexus 6, I'd appreciate the help.

Can you explain more what exactly you need ?

I'm trying to replace the screen assembly. Before replacement, the phone turned on and sent signs of life no problem. After switching screens pretty seamlessly at work (computer, laptop, mobile repair shop), device no longer powers on.

Those are the complete symptoms.

Also swelling battery, although device powered on and still showed signs of life before screen replacement.

Just fo your information the moto no way for the power ic go bad .

I do not have a power supply. Wouldn't having it on charge act as a power supply? Or does it need the battery? Because it still doesn't turn on after reconnecting but I wouldn't trust it worth a crap because of how much swelling.

$120 down the toilet, I can only imagine $300-500 for data recovery (I'm even thinking I'm falling short on my guessing, I bet it'll be hella more), all for about $200 worth of data.
